#BPIBESTSELF Challenge Recap

Well it’s over.

I can’t believe six weeks have gone by already. Like flew by.

I wasn’t sure what to expect of myself or what I could really change in that little amount of time but I think as a whole, it went well.

All I have to say is:

6 weeks ago I set out on a new challenge. The #BPIBESTSELF challenge.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but I did know one thing: I wasn’t going to deprive myself. I’ve been down that road before, and it’s a dangerous place to be.

It led me to binge eating. It let me to depression of what I could and couldn’t have. In reality, it should have been a fun journey, but least it was a learning experience. I actually hope to compete again someday in the future, after we’re done having kids.

I told myself I wouldn’t cut out anything. If I wanted a cupcake, I’d eat it. If I wanted a slice of pizza or two, fine. There were definitely still ups and downs. I was home with my sick baby for a whole week – no work outs, no healthy food around due to lack of a grocery trip. $hit happens to everyone. #thatslife At the end of the day, you have to be happy with the progress you’ve made. So this is me.

6 weeks apart. Happy and healthy.

AND I even see some tighter abs, a little bigger shoulder popage (totally a word) and a stronger back. Do you see it?

No stopping here. Always improving. Me vs Me.
