Homemade Salsa and Blendtec Review

A couple months ago I received this beautiful package from Blendtec.

Inside was one of their refurbished Designer Series Wildside Blenders.

You all know how much I love my smoothies so I could hardly contain myself when I opened the package!

The machine is very sleek.

It has a flat, touch screen base with easy-to-read icons that are programed cycles set to deliver the perfect blend every time.

The bottom line of lights is a manual control so you can adjust the speed to whatever you see fit for your particular recipe.

You wanna talk about power.. holy crap. This blender has it.

Also included in the box was the Twister Jar.

It is a smaller version of the blender, which the company recommends using for your thickest recipes – nut butters, hummus, shakes, etc.

You guys. I am having WAY too much fun with this blender. It is the most powerful, smoothest working blender I’ve used thus far.

I’ve mainly been using it to make baby food.

Pictured: mango.

Sweet potatoes.

Butternut squash.

Carrots.

A blend of roasted carrots, fuji apples, and mango.

Sorry for the messy counter. #babyproblems

I also made a killer recipe for a Creamy Butternut Squash Soup.

I know, soup. Hot. Summer. Gross. But the good thing – it can be eaten cold too. I’ve tried it both ways. Seriously, one of my proudest recipes to date.

Just wait for the next recipe I post with them. It embodies summer and will leave your taste buds begging for more.

Today I’m bringing you a recipe for homemade salsaaaaaa!!

I love salsa. And chips. And more salsa.

Make this for us.

Then invite me over for some snacks and cocktails, mm k? Oh and if you have a pool, I’ll be your best friend.

Or I can pay you in hugs and homemade baby food.

Your choice.
