Giveaway!! {Simply Protein Bars and Chips}

Are we on a roll with giveaways lately or what?

Thanks to the kind folks at Wellness Foods, they sent me a package of products to try.

I’ve had a couple of their regular protein bars before, but just recently they came out with a new bar made with whey protein called Simply Whey. I was most excited to try these because I’m always on the hunt for good tasting, high quality protein bars. There are three flavors.

The one that immediately caught my attention was apple cinnamon. YUM! So of course it’s the first one I tried :)

I had a long day of racing in the works so I brought it along to snack on for some #healthyfuel!

The texture of the bars are very unique.

They’re made of protein crisps and take a little extra effort chewing which, in my opinion, leaves you more satisfied than a protein shake or something similar.

The flavor of this one was spot on. I wish I had more than one because I think it would be killer crumbled in some greek yogurt, similar to what I did with this one.

Their original protein bars are made from soy protein and both these and the Simply Whey bars are low in sugar, making them convenient for anyone watching their sugar intake or needing help with weight loss.

Tip: top the chocolate peanut butter with more peanut butter. You really can’t go wrong! ;)

One thing I didn’t know existed and certainly was shocked to receive were these protein chips.

They were hands down my favorite thing they sent me. The flavor, the nutritional values, and the ingredients were all spot on.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from them, but after one bite I was hooked. I scarfed the bag down so quickly I forgot to take a picture of what they look like. Whoops!

Luckily they sent me both flavors, Herb and Chili, so I broke open the Chili yesterday afternoon for a snack while I was training.

They were equally as delicious as the herb, and I even shared a few with the client I was training.

The texture and consistency reminded me a lot of Funyuns. Remember those? They were light and airy and seriously, the flavor was SO good. They were spicy and the herb ones had a bit of an onion kick to them.
