Hope you had a great weekend. We spent the majority of ours at, you guessed it, the house. It’s coming along really nicely though. It’s amazing what a little paint will do for something. We also listed the house we’re in now yesterday so I hope it sells quick. *say a prayer!*
I’ll get a progress pic posted of the house in the next few days or next week. I honestly probably won’t be there till this weekend so it might have to wait til Monday.
I didn’t fully announce it yet, but today is perfect. In 2013, I will be representing the company LÄRABAR as an Ambassador. I can’t tell you how extremely awesome this is!
When I had my first LÄRABAR a couple years ago, I couldn’t believe how spot on the flavor was. Being a fit fanatic, I generally look for a bar with a bit more protein and a little less sugar. BUT, take a look at the ingredient list!!

They’re not all two ingredients only, but they are all natural. The only ones with added sugars are the ones with chocolate chips in them because the chips have been sweetened. And, the most ingredients in any bar is nine. Nine simple, whole ingredients. #perfection
These would be great for pre or post-workout fuel. I was actually using them for my AM cardio fuel for a few weeks and noticed a HUGE difference in my performance. I wasn’t as tired during my run and I was able to push a little harder than normal.

I saw this post on facebook yesterday that I had to share with you. Am I a fitness model? No. But I do follow a lot in the industry, and one person I admire is Amanda Adams. She doesn’t compete but she is a fitness model. She’s extremely honest, eats clean but still has treats to live a so-called “normal life.”
One thing a lot of women do (myself included) is compare ourselves to other women. Especially if they look a certain way we want to. Often times, you’ll see fitness models taking selfy pics in the mirror and they look like they’re in killer shape. Which, don’t get me wrong, they are. But it’s easy to manipulate your body to look better than it should it a regular ole picture.
Here’s what I’m talking about.
She posted this picture on her facebook page yesterday. In the caption, she explained how both pictures were taken two minutes apart but how the first is never posted by anyone because, well, look at the difference. And too often we compare ourselves to how awesome those people look when they’re really just human too. It’s all about giving your best angle and showing YOUR best YOU! Don’t compare yourself to anyone. You’re different. How boring would life be if we all looked alike? You can always change the way you look if you’re not happy, but do it for the right reasons.

I’m one of the few that loves the lemon bar. And blueberry pie. Mmm.. I might eat one right now!
